I have a buddy who's about 5-10 240. He's lost a little weight in the past year as he joined this men's group where they do a high energy workout a couple times a week. Talks about how intense it is, how he's drained of energy, etc. Now he's signed up for the next level workouts with smaller group of the guys where there gonna ramp it up even more in the spring.
But his belly is still giant. He eats fast food every day for lunch at work and he and his fat arse wife rarely cook so they order out or hit a restaurant 4-5 times a week.
I've tried to talk to him about just changing his lunch habit...and he's like "it's much more expensive to make a healthy lunch than to eat fast food". He's a friend so I've tried to help him, but he won't listen.

Self control is key… I have none but that’s what the experts say.

You can't out work a bad diet or unhealthy habits. Doesn't matter how many hours you spend in the gym. Diet/lifestyle is 85% of it.

this is not true and just an excuse for not really wanting to try
