Free speech is not outlawed no matter who the perpetrator.
Self Defense is not outlawed no matter who is defending themselves.
A fair trial is granted to every individual on the planet as well.
Cruel and Unusual punishment is also not allowed on any person on the planet.
and?
free movement anywhere you want, anytime you want, for however long you want within the US is not restricted on citizens. But it is (or at least on paper is) for non-citizens.
voting is (or is supposed to be) restricted to only citizens.
it's also illegal (or supposed to be) to hire illegal immigrants, but perfectly legal to hire citizens.
not every single law we have treats immigrants identically to how they treat citizens.
we as citizens DO have rights that immigrants do not.
not sure why people don't seem to grasp that we have multiple examples of non-citizens having to follow a different set of rights and laws than what citizens have.
quote:
Do you think torture of illegal immigrants is justified, or should the US Gov only be kept from torturing it's taxpayers?
do you think illegal immigrants should be allowed to vote for our president, or would that be limited to only our citizens?
do you think illegal immigrants should have the right to run for president, or should that only limited you our citizens?
just because SOME laws are applied unilaterally to every single human standing within our borders, doesn't mean ALL of the laws we have are.

This is my argument too.
