Just wondering if I should be crushed having to walk it in or how awesome it would be to add that amount of time.

I mean it depends on what your goal is. If its just to run an hour to say youve run an hour i think you should be fine. If your body is used to 40 youre not likely to really hit a wall or anything until 55ish, if at all, as long as youre smart with pacing. If youre wanting to run for a distance goal then id take the poster aboves advice.
