Yes, our government is allowing illegal immigrants to request asylum and work in the US. Yes companies like Tyson are hiring illegal immigrants because the government is allowing them meritless applications for asylum that will take years to rule on because illegals are flooding the system.

Can I Still Apply for Asylum Even if I Am in the United States Illegally?
Yes. You may apply for asylum with USCIS regardless of your immigration status
From Asylum Seeker Advocacy Project:
In general, you can apply for your first work permit 150 days or more after submitting your asylum application (Form I-589) to USCIS or the immigration court. You can receive your work permit after at least 180 days have passed since you submitted your asylum application.

Look up asylum law and proper asylee application procedure.
The fact that the regime wont enforce the law them doesn't make them any less illegal.
