re: How do you feel about Nurse Practitioners?

My wife is an NP at a hospital. Not saying she’s the best by any means but she is extremely thorough with patients. Fights with insurance company’s for better care, rehab etc for her PTs all the time. She also understands she’s not an MD and will consult a specialist when/if she’s uncertain ab a treatment plan. She also spent 13yrs as an ICU nurse before going back to school so that experience helps. Like someone else said, not all providers are equal.

Only complaint I have is she has a terrible bed side manner ??
