These are guys that are very dogmatic in there approach to selecting candidates.
1. Must be a life long Republican who talks a good game and is solidly backed by the establishment. *Actual results and action do not matter as long as the candidate appears educated and gives good answers that do not offend anyone.
2. Must not retaliate against the media and or Democrats who attack them but remain stoic, and allow all insults and untruths to flow without retort or rebuttal. It is better to take the high road and not stoop to your opponent's level. No matter what they say even if it includes accusing you of committing a crime.
3. If the candidate is accused of a crime, these guys jump off the train quickly. The appearance of evil is enough for them even if the accusations are completely unfounded.
