Men vs. Women: Chess
Watching Rogan's interview with Riley Gaines & Rogan brought up that there are no female world champion chess players

women are better schemers and planners, so that "should" make them much better chess players.

problem is, women are also very impatient so that hampers them and they get frustrated and start to make mistakes, and that is why you dont see women at the top of chess matches

If you put them on a full distribution, you'd find exactly that.

from the 25th to 75th percentile, its very likely women would predominate decisively over men.

The bottom quartile and top quartile both would be overwhelmingly male-- the moreso you got to each end of the distribution.

Men are better at visual perception. I watch soccer, I'm paying less attention to who has the ball than where the rest of the team is, the angles, etc. Men also have a higher rate of Aspy, at over 4X. The more single minded anyone can be, the more likely they are to be successful in a chess match. Are you thinking about banging Veronika Rajek in the middle of the match, or are you doing a deep pull on some book you read about a defense strategy in 1985?

I think there is another explanation that I got from a study of scrabble champions. Most scrabble players are women, by a lot. Most champions are men. They studied why and concluded that it’s probably due to the fact that the men work harder at it.

Apparently being good at scrabble requires a ton of memorization, and the only people willing to put in the time are men. The reason? There are scrabble groupies, believe it or not. The men want that action and work their asses off for it. Probably the same goes for chess, although I believe the outlier theory, too.
