Honestly I don’t think the Bears should have moved on from him so fast. I think they should have traded away the #1 for a first and maybe a 2nd or 3rd.

Then use the picks to build around fields.

Again, they weren't going to do that two years in a row. Especially with a QB who was still a big question mark, and a GM and HC who didn't draft him.

The Bears moved on from Trubisky, and no one thought it was too fast. Yet, he was a better passer statistically than Fields, and he actually got to the playoffs twice.

I just don't understand why people think more draft capital would've magically made Fields better.
