That does not mean that driver's licenses will be given to illegals. Florida does not even recognize licenses given to illegals in other states.

Does Florida require proof of legal status to get a drivers license?
I was watching a congressional hearing wheee they were questioning a leftist in voting eligibility and she was making the case that there was no need to confirm citizenship because they require the person to attest that they are eligible.
If you don’t verify it doesn’t matter what the laws are.
