BT is an allocated bourbon but it’s one of the easiest allocateds to find.

I have probably a case of it right now. The harder to find ones are way better - Stagg, Blanton, and of course December’s distro of pappy.

The local Walmart here in Kentucky had 5 cases of pappy last December. 5! A 10,12,13,15, and 20! The 20 went for $197 a bottle. After market of $4k or more.

I figured there would be more closer to the source but that's nuts.

Stagg is definitely better. If you gave me a blind tasting of Buffalo Trace and Blantons, not sure Blantons would win.

At that price, I’d buy the whole case, keep two bottles and auction the rest.

Buffalo Trace is not allocated everywhere. BT and Eagle Rare are readily available at every Safeway, Target, etc.. near me. No idea why you’d seek that mediocre stuff out.
