Lot of mixed reviews here. I had an engine light come on but it went away before I could bring it somewhere to pull the code.

I went ahead and put sea foam in the fuel, and I may try the heavier oil weight. Would hate to have to sell it and buy something else right now. Only have 130k miles on it now.

Please keep us updated and good luck. Like I said, in my situation, the heavier oil did the trick for me. I did want to clarify though. I have been using the heavier oil now for about 175k miles. Before and after that I have had a constant check engine light on. Light has been on for -15 years. I’m the kind of guy that doesn’t care about a check engine light on as long as the truck runs fine and is reliable. Hell my truck is 22 years old now. Like me ( I’m in 50’s) it’s tired with aches and pains every day. A friend plugged his code reader into my truck, because he was interested , a while back and it was lots of codes including three cylinder misfires. Lol. Truck runs fine so I could care less about the light. I’m now curious how many miles I am going to get out of this engine… 500k????
