Drinking or even being drunk doesn’t mean you absolutely cannot consent. This is a false narrative that’s been spread. It’s less likely for consent to be proven but it’s not absolute.

I'm not going to pretend to be an expert at law or of this case. But every time a husband and wife go home and have sex and the wife is intoxicated, do you believe that a rape occurred?
