The Biden administration's most important climate action to date was signing the Inflation Reduction Act into law in August 2022, the most comprehensive climate legislation the U.S. has even seen.

quote:

President Biden has been clear that climate change is the existential threat of our time – and we must act with the urgency it demands to protect the future for generations to come. That’s why, since Day One, President Biden has led and delivered on the most ambitious climate agenda in history, which is lowering energy costs for hardworking Americans, creating millions of good-paying jobs, safeguarding the health of our communities, and ensuring America leads the clean energy future.

Today, the Biden-Harris Administration is announcing a temporary pause on pending decisions on exports of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) to non-FTA countries until the Department of Energy can update the underlying analyses for authorizations.

quote:

As Republicans in Congress continue to deny the very existence of climate change while attempting to strip their constituents of the economic, environmental and health benefits of the President’s historic climate investments, the Biden-Harris Administration will continue to lead the way in ambitious climate action while ensuring the American economy remains the envy of the world.

Which will include reducing our beef consumption.

quote:

Biden’s war on energy’ Despite record-setting production, Biden has come under fire for his energy policy. “Unfortunately, this Administration continues to pursue policies designed to limit access to new production—most notably on federal lands and waters. The world will continue to demand more energy, not less, and we urge policymakers to recognize the role American energy production can play as a stabilizing force for consumers here at home and around the world,” American Petroleum Institute Senior Vice President of Policy, Economics and Regulatory Affairs Dustin Meyer, said in a statement on Tuesday.

Other non-OPEC oil producers including Canada and Brazil are also pumping more oil than ever before.

It’s funny that tds riddled minds think pumping more is a win for Biden. It only is if you have been full of shite about the climate.

quote:

Earlier this month at a GOP presidential primary debate, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis vowed to “open up all of our domestic energy for production” to “lower your gas prices.” DeSantis made a similar comment at the CNN town hall last week.

Dang guess we couldn’t vote for desantis either.

Our only option is Biden.

There is a shitload of YEEHAW from both sides which completely clouds the issues.

I didn't vote for Biden and never will and never ever voted for a Democrat for president.

Desantis is YEEHAWING as well, it's what all politicians do best of all. Florida still has a block on drilling in the Eastern 1/3 of the Gulf of Mexico.

Biden did approve a shortline RR into the Unitah Basin in UT for some of the most easily refined crude oil available. It cannot be pipelined economically for even 100 miles due high paraffin wax content, even when cut 50% with lease condensate from local wet natural gas wells.

The news media, 100% of it is run by dullards who don't know shiite from shinola, regardless of their political ideology. So across the spectrum from Rachal Maddow to Alex Jones, dullards all.
