Fury Road was the last one I went to that I remember the audience having a visceral response.

Talk about a movie with 0 plot. 0. The characters literally end where they begin. Total waste of Hardy. Also, the first of the bait-and-switch reboots where they used a male IP to introduce a female-driven story to get butts in the seats instead of writing a completely new story set in the same universe.

Dune Pt 2 delivered in a way that hasn’t been done since LOTR. I was just stunned the entire time. Oh, and they didn’t sell it as Paul’s story to get butts in the seats and then make Chani the pivotal character. I was riveted for almost 3 hours and still wanted more.

Leg humpers will suck it off for a while and it will have no staying power.

actually has had some staying power. It isn't supposed to have a complicated plot. It's a 2 hour chase movie with insane visuals and situations. Sure, it had some irritating feminist themes, but at least they were packaged in something good. But, I don't require other people to like it.
