If the LED light is cheaper and last longer, then why are they charging you more for it?
On a side note, we tend to go through LEDs in our home about 20% faster than good ole fashion bulbs that costs a fraction of the price...

I keep seeing this.. if it’s true, y’all are either using the cheapest dog shite Chinese bulbs known to man, or y’all are putting them in fixtures that can’t handle LEDs.
I installed 25-30 Philips LED bulbs damn near 10 years ago and still havent had to replace a single one. And I have three more of them under my carport that haven’t even been turned off (outside of power outages) in at least 8 years.
