I think the call being illegally recorded is a problem for the recorder. Doesn’t make it inadmissible evidence, though.

Ummm yes it does. You can’t use illegally obtained evidence to prosecute anyone. Neither party consented to the recording and that is illegal in the state of Florida where she recorded the call.

It should, otherwise it would be an easy way for corruption.

Get someone to procure evidence illegally and then give that person immunity from prosecution.
