Yeh I’m in flood zone x. But with new flood pricing etc it’s now $929 for the year starting 4/15. It’s at the point I’m contemplating not getting it and self insuring myself with savings. I mean flood x used to be standard $400 only a couple years ago.
My homeowners is atrociously high. Over 6k

My house in Claiborne Oaks is flood zone A10 and my first floor is 5 feet above that. My flood insurance is $422 a year. I've been with the same company since 2008, not sure if that makes a difference.
