Very good Netflix 3 part series.

In the final days of WWII, the paths of a blind French girl and a German soldier collide. Based on Anthony Doerr's Pulitzer Prize-winning bestseller.

I liked this very much with two exceptions: Mark Ruffalo and the portion of the ending they borrowed from Titanic

Mark Ruffalo was terrible

The German actor that played the antagonist was very good.

It was mildly entertaining.

It was good that it was a short series because if you stop to think about it a lot of the plot makes no sense at all.

Ruffalo was horrific

The Germans were cartoonishly bad/evil

Wouldn’t recommend

The book is great.
The show is entertaining enough, but deviated from the book when it should not have.

I can't imagine anyone who really loved the book even remotely liking this series.
