Big arse heavy trucks and SUVs have been around for decades. I've never seen or heard a single person ever complain about the toxic tire particles they put out.
It's not an issue because some random study you can't trust due to other incorrect "facts" said it's an issue.

Didn't read the article and haven't researched the issue, but my guess is one of the assumptions in the analysis is that people replacing say Civics with EVs, not F250s.
So whatever tire degradation is in play, it is being exacerbated by EVs.
