Once again, recruiting is not just about recruiting rankings. Sometimes it’s about actual talent evaluation and finding the diamonds in the rough.
Clemson’s roster was absolutely loaded, won them two national championships, and sent tons of guys to the NFL. That supersedes any recruiting rankings that were assigned to them at that time.
