Thank god scientists didn't want to take as fact that the earth was flat.

The Church literally hung Scientists for saying the earth wasn't the center of the Universe.

It’s long been my understanding the Earth’s climate has always changed over the eons. Hence, periods of extreme warmth, Ice Ages, severe drought, you name it.
So when was Earth’s climate supposed to become perpetually stable and no longer subject to such changes?
