a clogged filter can cause a/c systems to prematurely fail. Change the damn thing according to driving conditions/timely.

My son has a Dodge Ram and wasn't cooling that great during the warmer months. Someone suggested changing the cabin filter, that thing was extremely dirty. Now it seems to be doing just fine.
