65,000 sq. ft. is a good sized building.

The new Amazon facility in Baton Rouge is 3.8 million sq. ft. YUUUUGE.

50/50 whether it will actually be used. I have an Amazon facility 10 mins from me that was built 3 years ago and the only activity is a security patrol.

It’s great and all and only 20 minutes from my house, but what is Amazon trying to accomplish? They built a 5 story building in Shreveport across from my office that isn’t being used at the moment and currently building another building in west Shreveport. Clarence and Baton Rouge has facilities now. Now a building in Boyce. They’re popping up like Dollar Generals. It seems like building buildings too close together could be harmful in the long run. Walmart learned this mistake by building their Distribution Centers too close to one another.

Maybe Boyce can get enough money from it to rehire the entire police force (6 guys) back!
