All of that should be directed to those fricking hacks at OU and the Big 12.

How many times does OU need to get skull-fricked in a BCS bowl before people realize how over-rated they (and the Big 12) are?

Without Vince, UT would've been skull dragged by USC as well.

LSU vs. USC should've been the matchup. NOT a team that just got their arse whipped 35-7.

If the tables were turned, I'd have wanted Saban to lobby for an AP NC as well.

I think I can predict like the next ten responses to this.

Wait, anyone other than OU fans dispute that?

apparently LSU fans don't think like this. Because if we all thought this way, there wouldn't have been the "FUSC" stickers and the on-going USC fascination on this board.

Well, I didn't know the specifics, but I thought my response might get more than the original.

I honestly believe some of you are still stuck in 2003.

But he was their QB, what do you think Florida would do this year without Tebow?

It might have meant something if LSU and USC would have played each other within 4 years of 2003 but they didn't.

Let's move on and forget this crap.

So, with out Brady, NE would not have won 3 SB. With out ML and Reggie Bush, USC would have 0 NC's this decade. What a stupid fricking comment.

Oklahoma: better record, tougher schedule
LSU: same record, tougher schedule
USC: same record as LSU, not as tough a schedule as either.

No argument. AP = wrong

USC was #1 in both polls and got left out of the BCS CG. Naturally, they got all of the national sympathy. Rantards mistook that as a lack of respect for LSU and USC favoritism. (though some *cough* Kieth Jackson *cough*) took a tad too far.

Yes. It wasn't LSU fans upset about who they played but rather waiting 45 years for a national title and then everyone forgetting LSU won it when USC was going for their 3rd straight.

I personally have no problem saying it was a split title, just before '07 it was seeming like USC was the only team to win in 2003

Do you guys remember the rantards coming out of the woodworks when ESPN wrote "USC going for 3rd straight BCS title"

That was greatness on here

but why does the fascination and hate still exist, even after a consensus NC in 2007?
