I have one in a Tacoma. It takes maybe 15 minutes to remove. The top plates come off, remove drawers (I think a roller has to be removed), then you can tilt up the frame and take it out without disassembly. Might be different with a decked that has the “ammo cans” close to the cab (mine only has them at the tailgate). I’ve taken mine out a couple of times (it’s out now) and done it by myself, but it’s much easier with help.

It took me several hours to assemble it originally, but I did have to drill a couple holes and add the brackets.
