Shelley Long of sports, recent examples

For those who may not get the reference, Shelley Long was a star on Cheers for 5 years and then left. She never really was able to capture that same stardom from the show and the show continued to be a huge success for 6 more seasons. To make it worse, her replacement, Kristi Alley, went on to have a much better career. In light of this, I thought about recent sports versions of Shelley Long. Here are my 2, feel free to add to the list:
1. Kevin Durant - seems pretty obvious, he goes to Golden State, they won a championship before he got there and lost in an epic collapse the year before. During the 3 years he is in Golden State, they win 2 championships and lose a 3rd due mainly to injuries. He gets his feelings hurt, leaves and hasn't been to the conference finals since. Meanwhile, Golden State has won a title.
2. Tyreek Hill - has an amazing career w/ the Chiefs. Wins a championship, goes to another super bowl. Decides he wants more money, leaves for the Dolphins and hasn't won a single playoff game since, including losing in the wildcard to the Chiefs. The Chiefs have won the super bowl in both of the years he wasn't on the team!
