But but they should just move the people who worked in VR around to other locations! To do ughhhh….ughhh…something that other people are already doing at said locations..

It is more about missing sales targets and having nothing to drive sales before April 2025.

Would they have made the cuts if they did? We will never know, because the missed sales targets.

Inflation is a thing, and the number of people wanting to drop $400+ on a console and/or $70 games has been reduced globally.

Sony needs to evolve the way they look at gaming.

Exactly. I don’t like to see people lose their jobs either but it seems like the London Studio served their purpose and no longer were in Sony’s plans.
