Ok. We are here and You are the Pels GM.
Fix the Pels. What do you do? It has to be realistic. No trading BI for Luka and shite.
ETA: This may be its own thread but I would honestly like to see what all of you say.

1. We have to fix the starting lineup. The numbers show they don't work together for a number of reasons.
A decision needs to be made on Jonas. I love the guy, but ultimately he does not mesh with the current construction. In the offseason, I would explore if the Cavs still have any interest in trading Jarrett Allen.
2. I don't think BI would fetch a return in a trade that would ultimately allow the team to be competitive. If a team had a guy comparable (or better) to BI, it is more than likely that the team isn't trading him unless we unload all the draft capital as well. Therefore, you have to resign him. The only name I can think of is Donovan Mitchell, but we all know the dirty little secret that he wants to be in New York.
3. I don't think this is realistic, but CJ is only going to get worse on defense each year as he gets older. There is no way to justify this for what he will be paid on this extension, but he may be best served after this season in a super 6th man role. If it is a night where he is hot, you roll with him in the closing lineup.
You opt for a shite ton of length with a new starting lineup of Zion, Allen, BI, Trey, and Herb.
We know Herb is a dominant wing-stopper on D and Allen would give you the protection to make up for Zion/BI lapses.

IMO Detroit would be hot and heavy on the heels trying to acquire BI and would likely overpay to get him.
3 team trade:
Pistons: Ingram
Cavs: Nance, 2024 1st from Detroit
Pels: Allen, Ivey, Stewart, Future detroit 1st
We revamp our big man rotation with two starting quality centers while shedding around 6 million in tax space and pick up an additional 1st. Also add a shooter to come in as a super 6th man and lead guard off the bench, and could be a CJ replacement as he ages.
