quote:
I’ll admit I could do better taking care of my body, but I’m not obese or anything just eat too much sugar and unhealthy foods. Anyways, I’m just not the same athletically that I used to be. Just turned 30 and wishing I would have stayed in the gym and eaten better the past few years.
I had 12 surgeries on hips/knees/feet by 41 years old. (Born w club feet).
And I get pretty jealous of my neighbors over 50 that are still jogging.
But jogging is NOT going to be in my future. I accept it.
I want to focus my energy on being a better father and that 30 min I could be jogging needs to be focused on a multitude of options:
Bike
Elliptical
Bible
Sauna
Work
Get better at something else and give yourself grace.
