And they are our friends because we are useful.
Don’t forget, Israel has attacked and sunk a US navy vessel and killed most if not all of its crew. And we just let them get away with it.

They also routinely spy on the US, sell America out to other foreign intelligence agencies, and sell American military tech on the black market. With friends like those, who needs enemies.
