There are likely tons of scholarly research and articles on the subject that will go into far greater depth than we want to get into in this forum.
Suffice to say, while it’s an oversimplification I’ll accept are “correct”to say the FF believed that these rights came “from God” rather than from “government”. But it’s more accurate to say that this was more along the lines of a philosophical belief in “natural law” referencing “The Creator” rather than a Judeo-Christian religious movement. You might want to look up Thomas Jefferson’s Bible as it provides an interesting perspective.
I’ll also point out that the Constitution seemingly acknowledges/protects
rights by delineating the limits of government, rather than “granting” them.

That's monotheism, not some fuzzy form of philosophy.
