just pushed about $26-27M in cap onto 25 and 26

We all knew this was going to happen. It's not like this is a new business practice. Khai Harley has been utilizing these loopholes for years.

Everyone says how great Harley is but hates his plan of pushing money into future years.

I do think it's crazy that for the last few years and the foreseeable future the Saints start the the year off negative 50-80 million behind the cap.

As you know, it's going to get much harder every year to get where they need to be. Since they haven't drafted well, there aren't many big contracts to chop money with.

Every year they would have a latt, ram, kamara, jordan, and Davis contract to work with. Not anymore.

This is an extremely important draft imo. They can buy themselves some much needed time if they can hit on 70% of this draft.

The first and 2nd rounds are extremely deep. I doubt verse or Dallas turner are there when the Saints pick. At that point I'm trading back and taking a tackle.8

I agree I think they should try and trade back in acquire more picks.

But they've always traded up and most of the time got ripped off in the process. Recently it was trading with the Eagles.

I mean you would think that they would try a different approach at some point and kind of rebuilding the offensive staff is showing that they are thinking a different way but apply it to other things too. Unless somebody really good falls to number 14 and I totally agree with what you said there.
