Lots of bad things could have happened but the only three things known for sure is that she left with him, she overdosed, and he disposed of her body.
That fact has probably not been established.
It is a fact that she had drugs in her system when her body was recovered and they were at a level to conceivably kill her. So her cause of death was drug-related.
