I think LSU will have to be lights out from 3 tomorrow, cutting down on rebounds and transition baskets.

LSU can't outmuscle Kentucky. If they compete it'll be through finesse, not power.

Will be there and like our chances. TO and rebounding will be key as well as ball penetration defense. I think we'll shoot well at home. Ward needs to play a majority of the minutes. Also need to see how Cook looks with the hammy.

This isn't one of those UK teams that is dominant inside. They are a tremendous offensive team that can shoot it well from all levels (particularly from 3). A little bit more akin to Alabama. What they haven't done most of the year is defend. However, that has seemingly changed in the last week following a home loss to Gonzaga where they gave up 89 (and that isn't a great Gonzaga team). In their last two they have only allowed 63 (Ole Miss) and 59 (@ Auburn). Getting UK into a bit of a half-court crawl might actually benefit LSU a bit more.

It's crazy that LSU has only played two home games in the last MONTH, but in both they shot over 50% from the field. I think LSU will have a decent offensive game. But that's not what will win it for them. They will have to be much, much better defensively. They got it going on that end in the second half vs. South Carolina which allowed them to come back. They will have to keep that up because LSU doesn't have the fire power to trade buckets with Kentucky.
