Policy and the “theys” are ridiculous, but it really sounds like the manager and/or the trans are at fault for not educating the other’s employees on what pronouns should be used with this person.
The over reaction by pronouners is just mentally ill narcissists seeking attention. “They” is the biggest example. It’s plural for starters, and then there is the ones who go by “they” or he/she, ones that go by “they” that still use other labels that matches their sex or matches a trans choice. Respect that Gender change is equal to biological sex but also use “they” not the pronoun used by those allegedly equal biological sexes.
You wouldn’t use pronouns when trying to call out to correct someone quickly like that, and if new you might not still know person’s name. Using bro is completely informal and usually done in a friendly manner. Do the “theys” have an informal term to be just called like this? “It” is available.
Also, Do employees get write up’s if he or she accidentally uses wrong pronoun for a normal person?
