this is what makes Louisiana look so braindead. Just about every place or small town takes pride in what they do. You can ride between two random areas like south Mississippi through North Carolina and every single town thinks they cook the greatest this or that.

People in Louisiana hold on to food because we don’t have anything else. It either disappeared or moved to Houston.

It turns out that salt works just as well in other places
