No. Every big city - Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, etc - has more and better great food than Louisiana. It did not used to be that way, but they are all cosmopolitan now. Hell, Salt Lake City even has great food.
What New Orleans has, that I haven’t found anywhere else in America, is very good mid-price point food everywhere.
