Depends on where you are and what is being served. But I think when people say the food is better in Louisiana, that applies more to the people in the area. If you go to someone's house for dinner in Idaho, there is a good chance it will not be as good as if you go to someone's house in Louisiana (assuming both are average cooks for their area)
