My in-laws live in Travelers Rest- great small town with brewery and good restaurants but you won't spend an entire day there. It's 10-15 mins from downtown Gville.
Hit swamp rabbit trail for biking/walking. Downtown has tons of great restaurants/breweries along with shopping. Gather is a spot I hit up when there- bunch of shipping containers with food vendors, etc.... You aren't very far from mountains/great hiking and falls if interested in those things.
