Many companies are now talking about leaving the state of New York because of this ruling. You can do everything correct and still be found guilty, the judge and the state does not realize this ruling is going to affect New York and New York city in a huge way.

NY was already having issues, especially after 2020, but this is going to hasten their demise. The 2 NY cases are more an indication of the extremities their business regulatory environment exists in today than improper judgments. Both cases are based in somewhat irrational business laws.

I don’t think so. Companies will conclude they will be alright in New York. They will conclude justly that this is all about Trump, and only Trump. They will be safe.
