Knew a guy once that went to 3 separate dealerships and asked them for their absolute lowest cash price.

Ended up buying the lowest priced one. The other 2 called and asked why he didn’t come back to them after getting prices he said I told you I wanted your absolute best price.

They said we might could have done better. He said then in other words you lied when I asked for your best price and y’all told me $$$$$

Since nobody is paying under MSRP, with few exceptions, for the last four years, avoid all this shite and order one from Ford/Toyota/Chevrolet.com. No salesman ever gets involved, except to send you pictures of when your car is coming off the line, and when to pick it up. Even if you don't want to wait for a build (patience saves you money,) you still get prices on stuff on the lot in black and white.

But y'all keep doing you. "Deals" from your local dealership for decades.
