Meteorology or Astronomy
As a kid I was always watching the weather, could name every cloud and weather phenomenon, and all the old tricks that earlier cultures used to predict weather.
Hell, while other kids were drawing normal things in art class, I drew weather maps with all the correct colors and named my own hurricanes on there as well.
To this day, I am still captured by the forces of nature and the cosmos.
Sadly, when I hit the age where grades mattered the most, I slacked off, chased women, and partied hard as hell. Missed my calling.
My job now is good, pay is good, but its not what I enjoy and I honestly have no motivation to grow in my field outside of doing the bare minimum to keep my job or at least stand out above my peers. The rest of the time I just talk a big game to keep the higher ups happy since all they care about are numbers anyway.
