We see here that my common Bermuda was able to run and fill in up to a certain point before dormancy started (I added about 2.5 yds of river silt in the middle of the yard on 4 September).

If I leave the PRG alone, will the Bermuda continue to take over with warmer temps and doses of nitrogen?
Thanks!

Mow mow mow. The more often you mow bermuda the faster the lateral growth. Push the growth with high N fert

It will fill in faster if you kill and scalp the rye grass. It will take over eventually, but the rye will crowd and shade the soil for a little longer until it naturally dies out.

It looks a little shady there. Is it? Because If it’s the least bit shady during the warm weather, Bermuda won’t take.

It won’t go to the house, but I’m hopeful that Bermuda would spread to the top right of the “R”.

Not sure what I’d do with the areas that are too shady.

When we bought the house there was an 80 ft hickory in the middle of the yard. We’ve made strides!
