But outside of Chris Jones and their secondary, and obviously Mahomes, I wouldn’t really say they have even a top 5 roster in the NFL. Mahomes, Chris Jones and their secondary went God mode in the playoffs and carried them.

They've also drafted elite LBs, OL, and a solid WR/RB

So, other than drafting the QB, and OL, and LBs, and Secondary, and RB, they've been pretty mediocre in the draft

Don’t be intentionally retarded. Pacheco is a solid player that’s not even close to elite. Willie Gay is not elite and neither is Bolton. They’re solid, like Werner but not like Fred Warner like you’re making them out to be. They also signed Tranquil.

Their OL was objectively bad this year outside of Humphrey, who they did draft, and Thuney, who they signed as a FA. The rest were average or, in the case of their Tackles, just flat out bad. The rest of their skill position groups are meh, Kelce is older and their WR room outside of Rice, was laughably bad this year. It didn’t matter because Mahomes was THAT good.

On defense, they have three great players (McDuffie, Sneed and Jones) the rest are average. So yeah, outside of those 3 + Mahomes, an aging Kelce and a top 5 Center, a bunch of average players. Mahomes is that good. They’re hardly what I would call a well run organization. They’re not Carolina. But it’s pretty easy to win and not the worst thing if you miss on picks when you’re propped up by a QB that is probably going to end up being better than Brady. I’m not saying they’re poorly run by any means. I’m just saying I wouldn’t use them as an example because their roster isn’t exactly stacked and Mahomes makes up for a lot of their mistakes, not unlike Brady in the latter half of his Pats career
