Looking to get out of town last minute. Any recommendations for Thursday - Sunday with young kids (girls) from Nola?

Flying is an option too

It's not exactly cheap, but we take the kids (currently 6 & 3) to Gaylord Opryland every year and stay a couple nights to hit up their Sound waves water Park. Half of it is indoors and open year round. It is great for kids of any age and the hotel is huge and full of activities.

We are within easy driving distance of Nashville though, so that helps.

Moody Gardens in Galveston is still fun at this time of year.

Chattanooga isn’t a bad drive. Decent amount of things to do with kids (rock city, ruby falls, Tennessee aquarium, children’s museum, etc.) Solid food and brewery scene too

What about a ski resort but not actually skiing (due to cost of skiing) but letting the kids play in the snow, do some snow tubing, ice skating, etc

What’s the best resort that fits this criteria with a Marriott (have a few nights to use before they expire)
