If you like the trajectory of the country, the status quo is the way to go.

If you believe there needs to be structural change given trendlines of fedgov power/intrusiveness, you're going to have to proactively make that change. DC will never ever weaken itself. Period.

So what's your play if it's not a COS?

But again, happy with fedgov growing without boundaries in power/intrusiveness, then yeah - status quo is good.

I do not and agree with the changes that everyone is recommending.

HOWEVER, if you think the power brokers and elites of this country wouldn’t infiltrate and control the process you’re kidding yourself. Having a new 1A or 2A inserted to more reflect modern times would be a real possibility. Then we’re truly fricked.

I mean, we can’t even get current Republican politicians to do anything on major issues. You trust them with “revising” the Constitution?

At least now with right minded judges we have the original Constitution to fall back on.
