In 2019, we spent $4.6T, the same as our current revenue.
Sadly, if we could just ONLY increase spending by 1% a year instead of the automatic GAO built in 8% and freeze government non military hiring for a few years, we could grow or wsy out of this mess.

Heck, even if we only locked increases to a lower % we could probably cut the national debt in half in a decade and no one would feel a thing.
