Look for a Club Car with preferably no more than 2yr old Trojan batteries. Club Cars have an aluminum frame and composite battery tray so if you ever have a leaking battery or some type of spill when topping them off, nothing will rust or get ate up with acid.
Most people keep records of when the last batteries were bought so you can confirm there. If the batteries are 3 or 4 years old you can use that in your negotiations to lower the selling price. You can get a 6 pack of 8v Trojans for ~$1500.
