No WE didn’t. Our ancestors did.

WE are still Americans, correct?

OUR country has been through worse than anything you or I have seen in our lifetimes. That’s my point.

Do you feel the average male today is the same as the average male in America from 1940?

The “average male” has never been the one that holds society together. Great men do that and there are still enough of them. You probably have plenty in your own community. Don’t let nonsense on the internet warp your perception of what’s right in front of you.

And, again, this isn’t to say everything is wonderful but we are far from a societal collapse.

More than 16 million Americans served in World War II alone. We should also give women and civilians of that era (WWII) credit. Alone with all of the servicemen most of who were the "average male," (or patriotic citizen) are the ones who held our society together. The average woman who who served as a plant worker, or the average male who enlisted or was drafted or whatever capacity they served in are the only ones who could have saved our country and our society during that time.

Great men often come from humble beginnings and many after the war returned to those roots after peace was achieved.
