Those amazing looking subways were all built during Soviet Communism
Everything the Russians have built since the fall of USSR is of substandard materials and will likely collapse in the next couple decades
My father worked as an engineer in Russia for a few years. I know what I am talking about.
Sorry Tucker - I just refuse to believe Russia is better than the US. This whole thing stinks of propaganda.

This is Pykhtino station, it opened in 2023. It features a model of a TU-144 hanging above the escalators.
One thing that stands out about Russia today, is the amount of investment in public works. We for our part wasted twenty years, and a fortune, in Iraq and Afghanistan. We could have been building things and investing in America, but we didn't.
